· Landscaping
· House cleaning
· Light electrical & plumbing
· Community projects

Note: We are not able to paint any home that tests positive for lead paint.

Who Can Apply?

To apply for work to be done on your house, you must 1) own your home and live in it, 2)live in close proximity to the Greenville, Transfer and Jamestown areas, 3) provide proof of homeowners insurance.  When reviewing the applications, we place a priority on candidates who are widowed, elderly, disabled, single parents or economically distressed. In addition, non-profit community organizations may apply by using this application.

Note: Any applications not complete or not received before the May 2nd deadline will not be considered for approval. If you nominate a home other than your own, you must secure the homeowner’s permission to submit the application along with his/her signature.

Once You Send In Your Application…

Sometime in May you will be contacted by someone from HWHW to make an appointment to review your application and determine whether or not we have the resources to meet your request. A letter will be mailed on June 5, 2018 notifying you of your application status.

What Work Can HWHW do?

Our work teams are not professional contractors. Teams will consist of adults and teens, some skilled and some just learning. Nevertheless, we aim to do good, quality work that is a service to you. We will also provide work teams for community projects, nonprofit organizations or those organizations that serve as active partners in the HWHW ministry.

Do the Students/Adults Get Paid?

No, they don’t.  All of the students and adult leaders volunteer their time and efforts.  In fact, team members actually pay tuition to participate in His Work His Way Greenville; their tuition provides for their meals, and project materials.

How Can I Give Back?

It is always great if homeowners can spend time talking with the young people who are working hard. If you feel led to do so, you may make a financial contribution—checks can be made out to His Work, His Way and mailed to: Downtown Ministries, 172 Main Street, Greenville, Pa. 16125
